The SPEAR Project (Special Purpose Extraction and Rescue) is a nonprofit organization that provides search and rescue services for victims of hurricanes and other natural disasters. The project is veteran-operated and aims to eliminate suicide among veterans and first responders. The SPEAR Project's goal is to reduce deaths and human suffering, and to improve the coordination of humanitarian actions. The project aims to allocate resources and labor efficiently to relieve disaster situations as quickly as possible.
